Chinese Name Studio helps users generate Chinese name suggestions from Korean names, Western names, or meaning-first preferences.

Information We Process

The app may process the information you enter for name generation, including:

• Source name details, such as Korean Hangul, optional Hanja, Western names, or meaning preferences
• Style preferences, matching goals, and gender preference
• Optional birth date, if you choose to provide it
• Generated Chinese name suggestions and explanations

Favorites are saved locally on your device.

How Information Is Used

Entered details are sent to the app backend to generate Chinese name suggestions. The backend may use an AI service provider to create names and explanations.

Information is used to:

• Generate Chinese name candidates
• Explain name meanings and cultural fit
• Apply safety checks to avoid inappropriate names
• Support app functionality such as favorites and sharing

Data Sharing

The app does not sell personal information. The app may share generation requests with service providers that help operate the backend and AI generation.

The current production setup uses Render for backend hosting and OpenAI for AI generation. The app does not currently use third-party analytics.
